Research and Extension Strengthening Plan 2026

The Universidad Industrial de Santander, committed to scientific, technological, and innovative advancement, prioritized in 2024 the challenge of “Contributing to the construction of a sustainable region in balance with nature, the productive sector, and social well-being.” This goal will be realized by developing five agendas with a transdisciplinary research approach.

This plan is designed to strengthen research developed at the university until 2030. Therefore, it includes calls for proposals that: a) will fund research projects or programs for each agenda defined in Misión 6.0 “Saber para Crecer en Comunidad” (“Knowledge for Growing in Community”), and b) invite collaboration with various stakeholders in the department of Santander to seek solutions while generating new knowledge.
