ABOUT OUR Research Group
The Applied Economics and Regulation Research Group (EMAR) is composed of researchers with specialized training in economic theory, statistical and econometric methods, at the doctoral, master’s, and undergraduate levels. The group conducts interdisciplinary research focused on analyzing social and economic interactions, particularly in the fields of game theory, behavioral studies, inequality and quality of life, education, innovation and development, knowledge management, and public policy evaluation.
Its trajectory is characterized by collaborative work with other areas of knowledge and by strengthening academic and institutional networks.

Game Theory and Behavioral Studies
Research on decision-making, strategic interactions, and human behavior in social and economic contexts, incorporating tools from game theory, experimental economics, and behavioral economics.
Knowledge Management, Innovation, and Development
Analysis of innovation processes, knowledge transfer, and economic and territorial development, as well as institutional and organizational strategies aimed at strengthening research capacities and competitiveness.
