ABOUT OUR Research Group

The Applied Economics and Regulation Research Group (EMAR) is composed of researchers with specialized training in economic theory, statistical and econometric methods, at the doctoral, master’s, and undergraduate levels. The group conducts interdisciplinary research focused on analyzing social and economic interactions, particularly in the fields of game theory, behavioral studies, inequality and quality of life, education, innovation and development, knowledge management, and public policy evaluation.

Its trajectory is characterized by collaborative work with other areas of knowledge and by strengthening academic and institutional networks.

Research focused on analyzing the factors that influence educational quality, academic performance, educational policies, and institutional conditions that impact teaching and learning processes.

Study of the economic and social dynamics associated with inequality, poverty, well-being, and quality of life through quantitative approaches and public policy analysis.

Research on decision-making, strategic interactions, and human behavior in social and economic contexts, incorporating tools from game theory, experimental economics, and behavioral economics.

Analysis of innovation processes, knowledge transfer, and economic and territorial development, as well as institutional and organizational strategies aimed at strengthening research capacities and competitiveness.
