This research line focuses on evaluating the efficacy and safety of anesthetic techniques, with particular emphasis on ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks, the prevention of perioperative complications (such as hypotension and postoperative nausea), and the optimization of clinical management in obstetrics, general surgery, and pediatric patients.

This research line is dedicated to the comprehensive study of critically ill patients, encompassing the identification of ultrasound predictors of successful extubation, the analysis of mortality in severe conditions, and the optimization of advanced hemodynamic and respiratory monitoring.

This research line focuses on multimodal pain management, including the evaluation of adjuvant therapies for acute postoperative pain, the management of patients with burn injuries, and the implementation of therapies such as neuromodulation for the treatment of chronic and neuropathic pain syndromes.

This research line focuses on advancing medical education through controlled environments and simulation-based training. Its goal is to evaluate and improve learning curves in critical clinical skills, including advanced airway management, videolaryngoscopy, and vascular access techniques.

This research line focuses on the analysis of prognostic markers of morbidity and mortality, as well as the optimization of resuscitation strategies and anesthetic management for polytrauma patients and those with complex acute injuries.
