ABOUT OUR Group
The Movement, Harmony and Life (MAV) Research Group was established in 2004 and officially registered with Colciencias in 2005. It is currently recognized in Category B. MAV is composed of faculty members and students from the School of Physiotherapy at the Universidad Industrial de Santander and is committed to the study of Human Body Movement (HBM) from a holistic perspective, viewing it as an essential indicator of life and a fundamental component of health. Health, in turn, is regarded as one of the most important dimensions of people’s quality of life.
The group’s research lines contribute to the generation, advancement, validation, and dissemination of knowledge related to Human Body Movement, with the aim of developing activities, projects, and programs that promote the comprehensive development of individuals and communities.

RESEARCH Lines
