ABOUT OUR Group

The Regional Observatory for Sustainable Human Development (ORDHS) studies the socio-environmental interactions that either constrain or promote well-being and sustainability. It conducts research and outreach projects related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with particular emphasis on Goal 1 (No Poverty), Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and Goal 15 (Life on Land).

At the ORDHS, researchers examine the relationship between research and intervention from the perspective of Social Work, seeking evidence-based solutions to socio-environmental needs, conflicts, and challenges through territorial, differential, gender, and human rights approaches.
